Vistair Systems, a leading provider of aviation Document and Safety Management solutions, is pleased to announce it has achieved Stage 2 with JOSCAR, an accreditation system for the aerospace, defence and security sectors.
The accreditation mark is valued by some of the largest purchasers in the Defence community such as The Ministry of Defence, BAE Systems, Babcock International, Rolls Royce, Leonardo and NATS and indicates that Vistair has been through the accreditation process and fulfilled the appropriate credentials.
JOSCAR is a cross-sector collaboration solution which reduces the time, cost and resources and duplication needed to provide information to major customers; a risk management tool that objectively assesses potential vendor risks, proportionally to products and services being provided and across areas of compliance. It holds common supplier data in a central system, allowing information to be accessed by all participating buying organisations.
Lesley Bell, Head of Quality at Vistair comments “The JOSCAR accreditation is a result of continually achieving our goal of supplying products that surpass their customer’s high standards and providing a high level of service. This ensures Vistair continues to grow as an aerospace and defence industry supplier.”
Ian Herbert, CEO at Vistair comments ““Being part of the JOSCAR initiative is hugely important to us and shows our customers in these industries that we take our commitment to quality and standards very seriously, and we are very proud to have retained level 2 accreditation.”
