In March 2020, the Vistair team travelled to Australia, for our first DocuNet Knowledge Day event in the Asia Pacific region.
Our DocuNet Knowledge Day has since 2017 been the meeting place for pilots, documentation specialists, compliance experts, and managers in air operations. With 3 years of succession hosting the event for our customers in EMEA, the team recently travelled to Australia to introduce the event to our customers in Asia Pacific.
Hosted by our valued clients, Qantas Airways in Sydney and attended by Fiji Airways and Network Aviation, the event cultivated a climate for positive discussion and interaction among our customers as well the ability to share best practice among users.
David Hedley, CTO at Vistair comments: “Our knowledge day events aim to highlight the importance of working together as a community to create a more agile and sustainable future for our industry. For us, this means being at the forefront of development based on our customers’ needs and taking advantage of new technology and fixing the challenges that come our way.”
Document Management Innovation
The day included 1-2-1 training refreshers, requirements workshops and discussion amongst users about a variety of recently introduced features, with the recent DocuNet Forms development, Compliance Matrix and temporary revisions being of critical interest for many.
In addition, the road map of current and future developments highlighted Vistair’s commitment to development that will support our clients in the future.
Exciting enhancements such as the DocuNet Authoring Hub which will include a whole raft of new functionality and features based on client feedback were unveiled; with the addition of future improvements to DocuNet’s new mobile viewers.
Joe Kuczynski, Customer Success Director at Vistair comments “We are thrilled for the opportunity to see our customers in the region coming together to collaborate, engage and support this event. Vistair would like to Qantas for hosting us and to everyone for making the day so successful.”
Mathew Crocker, Technical Pilot at Qantas comment “Thank you Vistair for a productive collaboration over many years. We appreciate your excellent support to Qantas and thank you for the work you do to continually improve our workflows and document management processes. You allow us to work smarter in a financially constrained environment.”
Moving Into 2021
The road map of product innovation for Vistair is extremely exciting and with a client base that is both supportive, constructive and very demanding and therefore, next year’s Knowledge Days should be extremely valuable.
