Knowledge Days - Global Document management and SMS collaboration

Oct 17th 2018

For the second year in succession our valued airline clients from around the globe joined us for our 2018 Knowledge Day events.

Catering exclusively for Vistair’s QualityNet, DocuNet and SafetyNet clients, the three specific events provided an excellent forum for our clients to meet others in the industry who are also navigating the same Quality, Safety and Document management issues.

A Growing Network

Following the success of our inaugural events in 2017, our Knowledge Days have grown in both size and stature. As a result, we hosted the events at a new venue this year.

The event continues to cultivate a climate for positive discussion and interaction amongst our guests. Take a look at our Knowledge Day video to see the main highlights and what our clients thought of the event.

Document Management Innovation

Led by Vistair’s CTO, David Hedley and DocuNet Product Owner Andrew Wiles, this Knowledge Day focused on our world-leading aviation document management solution.

The day included discussion amongst users about a variety of recently introduced features, with the recent Compliance Matrix development being of critical interest for many.

In addition, the roadmap of current and future developments highlighted Vistair’s commitment to development that will support our clients in the future.

Exciting enhancements such as the new DocuNet publishing hub and DocuNet’s web update service which provides a whole raft of new functionality and features based on client feedback were unveiled; with the addition of future improvements to DocuNet’s web commenting change environment, InterAct, also discussed.

Quality and Safety Management

Led my SMS product owners, Matt Gough, Aron Williams and Aga Markiewicz, our QualityNet and SafetyNet focused Knowledge Days allowed guests to understand the developments taking place with our aviation compliance and safety management software.

The days included a number of interactive sessions with discussion based around performance-based oversight (PBO), IOSA synchronisations and several significant product developments planned for the forthcoming year.

Moving Into 2019

2019 Knowledge Days are likely to be scheduled for October – November next year with a number of interactive Forum Days being developed at mid-year.

The roadmap of product innovation for Vistair is extremely exciting and with a client base that is both supportive, constructive and very demanding next year’s Knowledge Days should be extremely valuable.
