October and November saw the launch of Vistair’s new Knowledge Day events with guests flying in from as far as North America, Norway, Dubai, and Sweden.
The events didn’t disappoint with feedback that was hugely positive including a resounding recommendation that they were simply “not to be missed.”
The first event kicked off with a Knowledge Day focused upon DocuNet, our unique aviation documentation management service. Led by David Hedley, Vistair’s CTO, our guests were treated to an interactive masterclass on the developments taking place. Ranging from the compliance matrix through to new features such as the DocuNet offline viewer which was demonstrated to our clients. This event provided something for all DocuNet users.
This was followed up by our QualityNet-focused and SafetyNet-focused Knowledge Days which allowed guests to understand the developments taking place with both aviation compliance and safety management software. Led by Vistair product specialists, Matt Gough and Aron Williams, the discussions covered topics from investigation and reporting workflows through to IOSA synchronicity requirements.
As Ian Herbert commented “Knowledge Days are a perfect way for our clients to share their thoughts on both our products and the industry, whilst also helping our product specialists refine and develop Vistair’s products and services in order to support those organisations focused upon safety and efficiency.”
“From a personal perspective, it is also great to host our guests at our Bristol headquarters which allows them not only to meet more people but also relax in our environment. We are also quite proud of Bristol and its history of innovation.”

Further events are scheduled for October-November 2018 such is the clamour for the events to be continued.
