Vistair provides world-class document management solution, DocuNet for Jet2

Leading leisure airline Jet2 has selected DocuNet for the control, management, and distribution of operation manuals across their mixed Boeing fleet. As part of the newly executed agreement, Vistair will provide OEM and regulatory manual revisions to both the crew and EFB platforms.

Improved compliance

Combining both software and service, DocuNet encompasses a simple interactive solution by handling all the processes relating to data, publication and delivery. Following a period of rapid growth, Jet2 were seeking a service that would both de-skill and streamline their flight operations document process, providing technical pilots with more time to focus on revisions.  With Vistair’s extensive in-house expertise, time initially taken to update and publish manual amendments across Jet2’s Boeing fleet will be reduced considerably, increasing compliance and overall efficiency.

Ease of use

Jet2’s decision to implement DocuNet was driven by simplicity and convenience. Innovative features such as the tagged search facility will ensure that pilots can access the right information quickly and efficiently whilst revisions become much easier as the Vistair process is built to accommodate offline revision notes.

Ian Herbert, CEO, Vistair comments: “We are delighted to have been chosen by Jet2 for the management of their airline documents. I believe that the implementation of DocuNet plays a pivotal role in their desire to expand. By partnering with Vistair the Jet2 organisation no longer needs to worry about the time consuming and confusing processes relating to Boeing XML editing and publication. Jet2 will have more time to focus on profitable core business operations.”
